With over twenty years of experience in the biotech industry, most recently as a senior executive of Cambridge Antibody Technology (CAT), Nigel brings a wealth of experience and industry contacts to Cell Medica. In addition to chairing the Board, he is assisting Cell Medica in its commercialisation and production scale-up plans. Dr Burns also acts as an advisor to companies, venture capitalists and governments in connection with biotech ventures and projects. PhD, BSc Biochemistry Imperial College.

Gregg is the founder and CEO of Cell Medica. After a career in investment banking based both in London and New York, he completed his Immunology degree at Imperial College where he met a small group of scientists and clinicians pioneering cell therapy applications and who later agreed to form the Scientific Advisory Team of Cell Medica. Maina Bhaman

Maina is a member of the Investment Team of Imperial Innovations. She has extensive start-up experience gained through working at biotechnology ventures for over ten years both in the UK and US. Previously Maina was a Senior Scientist at Celltech (formerly Oxford Glyco Sciences) where she was responsible for the successful management of several drug discovery projects. Her US experience includes Chimeric Therapies, a cell therapy start- based in Philadelphia. MBA Tanaka Business School, BSc University of Texas at Austin.

The availability of cell therapies, on a cost effective and convenient basis, will depend on the success of commercial ventures in providing products and services necessary to support the use of these new treatments.
